EDI - Electronic Data Interchange

EDI is the automatic transmission of data from one computer system to another, as agreed between trading partners. Electronic messages are triggered and processed automatically by the involved companies. Generally, there is a provider service who manages the information exchanged between them through the electronic mailboxes administration. This company is known as VAN – Value Added Network.

The solution was implemented in a number of automakers, automakers and auto parts industry with the purpose of making the EDI electronic files traffic viable, dynamic, fast, reliable and secure. Through web browser, it allows the visualization and identification of the messages that were sent and received, the traffic filtering (by partner, date, messages in their totality or only the ones not downloaded) and the classification of the traffic display (by sending date or receiving, partner and file size), in addition to the complete audit trail.

The phenomenon of electronic invoices, also known as NF-e, changed the routine of many companies and are increasingly present in daily lives of citizens. NF-e was a revolution, since 2009 it has been contributing to its business, bringing agility, reliability and transparency to tax processes.

Features

Control and Management Module

It allows a series of Electronic Fiscal Document (DF-e) controls, such as verifying that the generated NF-e belongs to the company and planning the merchandise receipt, taking all confirmed deliveries notes. Up to the recipient, it is possible to enter a commodity without the XML and then, a key would be send to the follow-up that automatically will charge the file. Measures the daily volume of queried notes and their validity, accompanying all the XMLs that are pending. It also lets you know the reason why your company is not able to validate the DANFEs key received.

Follow-up Module

It notifies the competent department the time the goods are received. It controls the validity of received NF-es and verifies their status with SEFAZ. Manages the missing XMLs in the case of incoming goods without XML submission.

Recipient Manifest Management

This set of events, allows the NF-e recipient to express its commercial participation described in NF-e, confirming the information provided by his supplier and issuer of the respective tax document. The process is composed of four events:

  • Unrealized Operation Record;
  • Unaware Operation.

SW EDI MODULE

The module was created to meet the large daily volume concerning the reception and transmission of several processes and EDI transactions.

  • Independent connection with several VANs that meet the segment, or connection focused through SawluzNet, a service with multiple redundancy features and fully anchored in safe internet;
  • Mapping of all EDI patterns: RND, EDIFACT, X12, VDA, ODETTE, CNAB and proprietary types;

SW SCHEDULE MODULE

Especially indicated for Logistics, Commercial and Shipping sectors, SW Schedule is the first EDI information-processing module launched in the automotive segment. It has functionalities that leverage the relationship of our customers with their business partners. It is a powerful tool to manage and deal with the schedules received.

SW JIT MODULE

With exclusive and customized features for specific transactions, SW JIT MODULE performs the grouping of daily schedules of auto-parts and systemists that use RND012, RND018 and EDIFACT Deljit transactions that works on the concepts Kanban and Sequencing. Thus, for each delivery window there is a specific call number, which allows a centralized view of all opened or answered calls, according to the parameters used by automakers such as Toyota, PSA, Renault, Nissan, Daimler, AGCO, John Deere, Scania, Honda, among others.

SW SHIPPMENT MODULE

The production of EDI messages constitutes a fundamental aspect in the relationship between partners, since it is directly linked to logistics processes of delivery or collection (milk run), as well as to the availability of several items for production lines, refitting and CKD. This module, when automating the generation and management of warnings of shipments (ASN’s), enables the reduction of risks in exponentially ways of demerits applied by partners’ customers making the process safer. The feature also generates standard shipping labels, which in some cases, are directly associated with the ASNs and the audit trail built from the generation, transmission and receipt of Shipment Notice by the receiver. The great advantage is that a single text file represents an invoice and generates ASNs in RND, EDIFACT and X12 standards in their respective versions.

SW LABEL / SHIPPING MODULE

This module performs the control of sequential and not repetitive numbering, following the business rules of partners and customers, linking information on labels inside the EDI message of ASNs to be transmitted. When used in conjunction with the SW Shipment Module, it enables the automation and the integration of billing and freight expedition sectors, adding transparency to the logistic rules and to the several EDI standards performed by automakers and systemists. It is an amazing tool for the effective management and issuance of shipping labels, in accordance with proprietary standards. The labels follow the automakers and systemists material over the national market and abroad.
