EDI Native in the SAP Bussiness One Solution
The specifications considered made it possible to create a “core” of integration where EDI transactions are first treated in the Automotive Suite, resulting in a delivery schedule integrated in the SAP Business One by means of the B1EDI Add-on. Based on that integration, a user can convert each delivery deadline to an order or an invoice containing all schedule data which must be provided in the bill of lading according to the specifications of each partnering client. Demand will also be integrated into the native MRP module of SAP Business One. Integration with MRP modules of other SAP partners will be reviewed on a project basis.
Generation of ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice)
When an invoice is issued at the SAP Business One, its information, provided it is correctly generated, will be correctly integrated in order to enable the generation of ASNs according to each standard and version as required by partners, thus contributing to reducing the risk of financial or punctual and/or faults impacting the performance of timely delivery, resulting in financial losses and even loss of the certification obtained by the supplier.
